Fred Keating has been working with business executives, supervisors and communicators in training and professional development workshops for over 30 years.

Fred coached presentation skills and the use of humour in the workplace as the coordinator of speech and communication courses at the University of Alberta’s Departments of Drama and Education for undergraduate and graduate students, and province-wide in workshops and special sessions for teachers and small business owners and operators.

Within corporate, educational and research structures such as TELUS, Climate Change Central, Edmonton Public Schools, the University of Alberta School of Medicine, BC Justice Institute Training of RCMP and Social Workers, and various provincial and federal government departments Fred has coached executives, employers and employees, medical students, Mounties, and subject matter experts in live presentation and on-camera presentation skills.

Fred has written and produced a number of video programs using humour as a communications and teaching tool for the Royal Alberta Museum, Syncrude Canada, the Banff World Television Festival, Telus and other organizations. He was awarded the Alberta Centennial Medal in 2005.

Coaching sessions can be scheduled on an individual or small group basis.
