Wade Sorochan is a well-known Alberta radio and television personality who first gained recognition for his pioneering impact on the Number 1-rated radio talk show and "Canada's most unique radio talk show": The Bill & Bill Show.

Nicknamed "The Tone Arm", Wade became the first broadcaster in history to use music to enhance a radio talk show. Wade went on to host his own popular radio talk show: Life Talk with Wade Sorochan, a show he created which became "Edmonton's most interactive radio talk show." Wade Sorochan most recently produced and hosted Edmonton This Week on 630 CHED and Edmonton Live with Wade Sorochan on SHAW TV. Wade Sorochan has interviewed numerous celebrities, politicians and everyday people for over 30 years, and is recognized as one of the best interviewers in the business and a brilliant talk show pioneer.

Wade Sorochan is the owner of his own communications company providing Freelance Broadcasting, Event Host Services, Communications Consulting and Motivational Speaking. Wade has been invited to speak throughout Western Canada sharing his inspiring story of living with mental illness.

Wade is a great master of ceremonies. He keeps the program running on time and he employs just the right amount of relevant humour to keep the audience engaged. His "ad lib" skills are appropriate, sharp, clean and impeccable.

Wade was has been recognized twice by the Province of Alberta for his outstanding contributions. He is a two-time nominee for the Alberta Lieutenant Governor's True Grit Award for "Excellent Work to Strengthen Outcomes and Quality of Life for People Living with Mental Illness and Addiction".

Wade shares entertaining career stories and talks openly about his mental health struggles: being emotionally abandoned as a child, experiencing five mental breakdowns, eventually hitting rock bottom, and how he is living with mental illness. In an engaging and humorous presentation Wade talks about the effects of chronic stress and social media addiction on a person's mental health.
